In September 2024, the commune of Lautrec, located in the Tarn department of France, inaugurated a state-of-the-art pumptrack facility within the Aquaval complex. This initiative aimed to enhance local recreational infrastructure and provide residents and visitors with a dedicated space for various wheeled sports.
The pumptrack was designed and constructed by E2S Company, a firm specializing in the development of such facilities. The track spans 220 meters and features three distinct levels of difficulty—easy, medium, and difficult—to accommodate users of varying skill levels.
The development of the pumptrack represented a significant investment for the commune. The total cost of the project was €265,550 (excluding taxes). Funding was secured through a combination of sources: European Union: Contributed a portion of the funding as part of regional development initiatives. French State: Provided financial support to promote local recreational infrastructure. Department of Tarn: Offered additional funding to facilitate the project's completion.
