In July 2024, the town of Le Vigan, located in the Gard department of France, inaugurated a state-of-the-art pumptrack facility. This development was part of the town's initiative to enhance recreational amenities and promote physical activity among residents and visitors.
The pumptrack, constructed by Velosolutions, a renowned company specializing in pumptrack design and construction, features an asphalt surface that ensures durability and a smooth riding experience. Spanning approximately 1,044 square meters, the track extends over 121 meters in length.
Strategically situated near the Cascade de la Fabègue, the pumptrack is easily accessible to residents and visitors. Its proximity to natural attractions enhances the recreational experience, offering a scenic environment for users. The facility is open to the public free of charge, promoting inclusivity and encouraging community participation.
