The Lethbridge Legacy Skate Plaza, located within the expansive 73-acre Legacy Park in Lethbridge, Alberta, is a highly ambitious 15,000-square-foot facility. This project was designed and built by New Line Skateparks through a comprehensive design-build process, officially opening its doors in the summer of 2018.
The layout features a world-class plaza and bowl complex designed for progression at every skill level. The street section provides a safe, flowing space for beginners to find their bearings before advancing to the park's more technical obstacles, which include handrails, ledges, manual pads, hips, banks, a slappy ledge, and a unique inset rock feature. For seasoned veterans, the park’s transition centerpiece is an aggressive combi-style pool that offers a serious, high-speed challenge.
Perfectly integrated into the larger municipal park development, the skate plaza is surrounded by family-friendly amenities, including a children’s discovery area, a baseball diamond, wetlands, and scenic trails. Today, the Lethbridge Legacy Skate Plaza stands as a prime destination for skateboarders, BMX riders, and scooter enthusiasts across Southern Alberta.
