The Ljutomer Skatepark, located behind the ŠIC sports hall in Ljutomer, Slovenia, was officially opened on August 8, 2014, during the 58th anniversary celebrations of the Municipality of Ljutomer. This facility was developed in response to local youth advocating for a dedicated space to practice and enjoy skateboarding and related sports. The skatepark was constructed by Varis Top, a company that collaborated closely with local skaters to design and build the park. The facility features both standard and custom-made elements, including a quarter pipe and wave ramp as standard components, while other structures were specifically tailored to meet the needs and preferences of the local skateboarding community.
In addition to the skatepark, a basketball court was also inaugurated at the same location, enhancing the recreational community.
