The Lodge Grass Skatepark in Lodge Grass, Montana, was built with the support of Evergreen Skateparks and the Montana Pool Service. The park is part of a wider initiative spearheaded by Jeff Ament, Pearl Jam's bassist, who has been instrumental in funding skateparks across Montana to provide recreational spaces in rural and underserved communities. His efforts have greatly expanded skateboarding opportunities for youth in these areas.
The skatepark itself features a smooth concrete layout, including a peanut-shaped bowl and street elements like ledges and rails. This design makes it accessible for skaters of varying skill levels, offering a space for both beginners and experienced riders. The Lodge Grass Skatepark, completed recently, is part of a growing number of skateparks in Montana aimed at fostering local youth engagement and providing healthy recreational outlets.
The skatepark is a vital community hub and plays a key role in local gatherings and skateboarding culture in the area. Skateboarders in the region regularly use the park, and its unique design is a draw for visitors from nearby communities.
