In September 2024, the commune of Lucé, located in the Eure-et-Loir department of France, inaugurated a state-of-the-art pumptrack facility. The pumptrack was designed and constructed by BikeSolutions, a specialized company experienced in developing such facilities.
The total cost of the pumptrack project was €322,000. The commune received a subsidy of €104,000 from the Agence Nationale du Sport (ANS) to support the development of the facility. The remaining funds were allocated from the municipal budget, reflecting the local government's commitment to enhancing recreational facilities and promoting active lifestyles among its residents.
In addition to the pumptrack, the area was equipped with other recreational amenities to cater to a wide range of interests: Multi-Sport Terrain: A versatile sports field suitable for various team sports and activities. Playground Equipment: Includes a climbing spider structure, table tennis tables, and a foosball table, providing options for both children and adults. Seating and Picnic Areas: Installation of benches and picnic tables to encourage social interaction and community gatherings.
