In August 2024, the municipality of Maasmechelen in Belgium officially opened the Urban Sports Park, a modern facility designed to cater to various urban sports enthusiasts. The pumptrack was constructed by Velosolutions, a renowned company specializing in building pumptracks and BMX tracks worldwide.
The Urban Sports Park is situated near the practice fields of football club Patro Eisden, at Wipstraat 1, 3630 Maasmechelen, Belgium. This strategic location ensures easy accessibility for residents and visitors.
The development of the Urban Sports Park was made possible through a combination of municipal funding and a substantial subsidy from the Flemish government. The municipality received a grant of €250,000 from the Flemish government, which significantly contributed to the project's realization.
