Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

The Mackenzie Skatepark, located at 400 Skeena Drive (adjacent to the Mackenzie Secondary School at 500 Skeena Drive) in Mackenzie, British Columbia, is a 9,000-square-foot facility that serves as a modern recreation anchor for this northern community. This project was designed and built by New Line Skateparks following five years of dedicated local advocacy. The park was developed to provide a durable, state-of-the-art concrete landscape that can withstand the intense northern climate while offering a high-performance experience for the region’s youth.
The design features a creative "Northern Wildlife" theme, with a layout that wraps around a large central planter island, integrating natural elements into the riding environment. The facility is anchored by a 5-foot deep self-contained flow bowl that includes a 6-foot curved extension for more advanced transition riders. This transition zone is complemented by a technical street plaza equipped with an array of granite-capped hubba ledges, flat rails, diverse stair sets, and quarter pipes. The arrangement is engineered to provide "infinite lines," allowing riders to maintain their momentum through the various technical and transition features.
Constructed with high-strength, smooth-troweled concrete, the park is built to endure the extreme freeze-thaw cycles of Northern BC. A unique feature of the site is the inclusion of New Line’s custom "skate benches," which serve as functional obstacles for riders and seating for spectators. The park is situated next to the Mackenzie Recreation Centre and the John Dahl Regional Park trails, making it part of a larger community hub that includes a newly installed playground and green spaces for field sports. Today, the Mackenzie Skatepark is celebrated as a premier destination in the North, recognized for its locally-inspired design and its role in fostering a vibrant action sports culture.
