ABOUT SKATEPARK

Marsh Creek Skatepark

Marsh Creek Skatepark, located in Raleigh, North Carolina, is a 12,000-square-foot outdoor concrete facility that first opened in May 2009. Designed by Pillar Design Studios, it was built to accommodate a wide range of skaters, offering both street and transition elements. The park features a large bowl with three distinct sections: a shallow end, a deep circular bowl, and a pill-shaped bowl, attracting skaters from all over the state. Other features include banks, quarter pipes, ledges, rails, and a snake run.

The park is part of the larger Marsh Creek Park, which includes additional amenities such as ball fields, an inline hockey rink, and a community center. The skatepark, along with other recreational facilities, was constructed as part of Raleigh’s broader commitment to expanding green spaces and recreational infrastructure. It remains one of the most popular skateparks in the area, drawing visitors not just from Raleigh but from across North Carolina.
