The Martinborough Pump Track, located in Considine Park adjacent to the community swimming pool, is a community-driven project spearheaded by the Martinborough Youth Trust. Construction commenced on October 14, 2024, with Trailpro, a New Zealand-based company specializing in pump track design and construction, leading the build. The track spans approximately 220 meters and is designed to accommodate riders of all ages and skill levels, including a dedicated loop for toddlers on balance bikes. The project has been a collaborative effort involving the Martinborough Community Board, the Domain Action Group, and the South Wairarapa District Council. Funding has been sourced through grants, private donations, and community fundraising activities, with the total project cost estimated at around $280,000.
