Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

The Mourão Skatepark, located at Rua Sacadura Cabral 38 within the Parque das Gerações (Mata de São Bento), is a recreational facility that officially opened on June 15, 2025. Developed as part of a significant municipal investment to revitalize the local park area, the skatepark was designed to provide a high-quality space for skateboarding, BMX, and inline skating in the Alentejo region.
The park features a durable Skatelite surface on a modular setup, offering a "back-and-forth" flow that is ideal for both beginners and intermediate riders. Its layout includes a variety of classic obstacles, such as a miniramp, quarter pipes, bank, and a funbox equipped with a handrail and ledge. Additionally, the facility includes a manual pad, making it a versatile spot for technical street tricks and transition skating. The project was part of a larger "intergenerational" park concept, which includes a 3x3 basketball court, table tennis, and a refurbished slide.
Car: Mourão is easily accessible via the N256, which connects the town to Reguengos de Monsaraz and the Spanish border. The park is located in the central Mata de São Bento area, with ample parking available in the surrounding streets of Rua Sacadura Cabral.
Bus: Regional bus services (Rodoviária do Alentejo) connect Mourão to larger hubs like Évora and Beja. The town's central stops are within a 5-to-10-minute walk of the facility.
Walking: Given the town's compact size, the park is within easy walking distance from the historic center and the Mourão Castle.
Amenities: As part of a larger family park, the area is equipped with public benches, trash cans, and water fountains. The shaded environment of the Mata de São Bento provides a cooler atmosphere during the hot Alentejo summers, and the park is designed to be a social hub for all ages.
