The Napier Pumptrack, located south of the carpark opposite the Ellison Street entrance in Napier, New Zealand, is a notable facility for cycling enthusiasts. Designed by Jeff Carter of Rotorua’s South Star Adventures, the track was inspired by a similar facility in Mendrisio, Switzerland, and was completed in March 2015. Covering an area of 60 meters in length and 30 meters in width, the pump track offers approximately 500 meters of continuous tracks. It caters to a wide range of skills, abilities, and ages, and is also suitable for skateboarders and scooter riders.
