The City of Nolanville, Texas, has made significant strides in enhancing recreational facilities for its residents, particularly in the realm of skateboarding. In October 2023, the city unveiled an innovative project that transformed a traditional pedestrian pathway into a linear skate park along Avenue G. This initiative was a collaborative effort between the Nolanville Economic Development Corporation and the Nolanville Public Art Committee, aiming to merge urban design with artistic expression.
The Avenue G skate path was designed and constructed by Rich Conklin of Primary Concrete, a seasoned expert in concrete work and skate park design. Conklin's extensive experience in building over 50 skate parks across the United States and internationally ensured a high-quality construction that seamlessly integrated unique skateable elements throughout the sidewalk. The path features various obstacles suitable for skaters of all levels, promoting an inclusive environment for the community.
