In July 2024, the city of Notre-Dame-des-Prairies, located in the Lanaudière region of Quebec, unveiled a new pumptrack at Parc Amable-Chalut. This addition was part of the city's ongoing efforts to enhance recreational facilities for its residents, particularly the youth.
The pumptrack was constructed by Flow Parc, a company specializing in the design and construction of pumptracks and skateparks. Their expertise ensured that the facility met modern standards and catered to various skill levels, making it accessible to both beginners and experienced riders.
The design of the pumptrack was tailored to fit within the existing layout of Parc Amable-Chalut, complementing other amenities such as the municipal swimming pool, playground modules, and a skatepark. This integration aimed to create a comprehensive recreational hub for the community.
The inauguration of the pumptrack on July 6, 2024, was a significant event for the community. Local residents, especially young enthusiasts of extreme sports, attended the opening to experience the new facility firsthand. The pumptrack quickly became a popular spot, offering a safe and engaging environment for activities such as biking, skateboarding, and scootering.
