In 2023, the commune of Pulligny, located in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department of France, inaugurated a modern pumptrack facility. This initiative aimed to provide a dedicated space for wheeled sports enthusiasts, including BMX biking, skateboarding, rollerblading, and scootering.
Strategically situated near the local sports complex, the pumptrack is easily accessible to residents and visitors. Its proximity to other recreational facilities encourages a diverse range of activities within the community. The facility is open to the public free of charge, promoting inclusivity and encouraging community participation.
The project was a collaborative effort between the local authorities and community members. Funding was sourced from municipal budgets, with additional support from regional development programs aimed at enhancing recreational infrastructure. The total cost of the pumptrack was approximately €150,000.
