The Parc de la Bergerie in Rochefort-du-Gard, France, officially opened in July 2024. This intergenerational park features three asphalt pump tracks designed to accommodate various skill levels: Green Track: Suitable for beginners. Blue Track: Intermediate difficulty with higher bumps. Red Track: For advanced users, offering more complex obstacles.
These tracks are accessible to a range of non-motorized sports, including bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, and scooters. The pump tracks were constructed by PGConcept, a company specializing in the design and building of such facilities.
In addition to the pump tracks, the park offers: A 20-meter-long zip line for children aged 6 to 14. Play areas with equipment suitable for children aged 1 to 14. An area with picnic tables (installed by the end of August 2024). Two water points and dry toilets. Approximately 100 newly planted trees to enhance the environment. The park is monitored by three surveillance cameras and operates from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. during summer months, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in winter. The development of the Parc de la Bergerie reflects Rochefort-du-Gard's commitment to providing modern recreational facilities for all age groups, fostering community engagement, and promoting active lifestyles.
