In December 2020, the commune of Roquefort-la-Bédoule, located in the Bouches-du-Rhône department of France, inaugurated a state-of-the-art pumptrack facility.
The pumptrack was designed and constructed by Hurricane Tracks, a company renowned for its expertise in creating pumptracks and bike parks. The facility features two asphalted circuits nestled within a pine forest: Beginner Track: Designed for novices, this circuit offers gentle slopes and curves, providing an accessible introduction to pumptrack activities. Advanced Track: A more challenging course incorporating various features such as bumps, double bumps, woops, and banked turns with platforms. The two tracks are interconnected, allowing for a fluid transition between them and enabling users to customize their riding experience. The standard track width accommodates one person at a time, ensuring safety and optimal flow.
Strategically situated in the Parc de la Bédoule, near the local football stadium, the pumptrack enhances the existing sports infrastructure in Roquefort-la-Bédoule.
