Located in Sunset Park along the scenic Ohio Riverfront, the park sits right off the levee walking path that links directly to downtown Evansville, making it as accessible as it is beautiful. Drawing from the natural beauty of the river and the area's rich history, the park’s aesthetic features sun and sunset motifs, with artistic nods to the nearby Angel Mounds site. The design was shaped by the voices of the local community — from skaters and BMX riders to roller derby crews — creating a space that’s built for everyone. The result is a true All Wheels Park that includes a hybrid roller rink/skatepark zone, a fast and flowing bowl, a deep pool bowl, long adaptive ledges, street-style terrain, and a separate multi-jump line crafted especially for bikes. Massive respect to the Evansville skate and bike community for pushing this vision forward, and big thanks to the city for backing such a bold and inclusive riverfront project. This one’s for everyone — and it rips. Hunger skateparks was responsible for the design and build in 2023.
