Thamesmead's Moat Gardens Skatepark, located in East London, offers a back-and-forth layout featuring metal-framed ramps surfaced with Skatelite. This design provides a smooth and durable riding experience suitable for various skill levels. The skatepark is free to use and is situated outdoors, making it accessible to the local community and visitors alike.
In addition to Moat Gardens, the Thamesmead area is home to other skate facilities. Notably, a new skatepark was launched on July 28th, 2015, with an event featuring prizes, workshops, music, and professional riders. This event highlighted the growing skateboarding culture in Thamesmead and the community's commitment to providing quality recreational spaces.
