The Uzès Skatepark, inaugurated on July 3, 2021, is located within the André Rancel Sports Complex in Uzès, France. Spanning 1,892 square meters, this modern facility caters to various urban gliding sports, including skateboarding, rollerblading, BMX, and scootering, accommodating enthusiasts from beginners to professionals. Designed by Constructo Skatepark Architecture and built by Vulcano skateparks, the park features three distinct yet complementary areas: Street Area (962 m²): This section offers a variety of micro-architectural elements commonly found in urban environments, such as curbs, ledges, handrails, and ramps, providing a diverse range of trajectories and transitions for users. Combi-Bowl (500 m²): Engineered for fluidity and speed, the combi-bowl combines multiple basins and forms, offering numerous trajectories and transition possibilities. It includes varying depths (1.5 m, 1.7 m, and 2.0 m) and features like hips, speed bumps, a volcano, and pool coping. Peripheral Circulation Area (430 m²): This space provides gentle slopes and is designed for beginners across all disciplines, facilitating a smooth introduction to urban gliding sports. It also serves as a training loop for roller derby.
The skatepark operates daily from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM for public use. Additionally, time slots from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM are reservable for local clubs and associations, allowing for organized training sessions and courses.
