The city of Neubrandenburg, Germany, has initiated the construction of a pumptrack in its Kulturpark to provide a recreational space for cyclists, skateboarders, and scooter riders. The pumptrack is a 165-meter-long artificial circuit featuring waves, steep curves, and jumps, designed to enhance riding skills and promote physical activity among users of all ages. Construction began in April 2024 on the lawn area between the Stadthalle and the animal enclosure in the Kulturpark. The project is expected to be completed by late summer 2024. The total cost is approximately €160,000, with €100,000 funded through the "Re-Start Lebendige Innenstädte M-V" program by the state government.
