7 Presidents Skatepark, located in Long Branch, New Jersey, is a premier 20,000-square-foot concrete skatepark that first opened in 2016. Designed and built by SpohnRanch Skateparks, the park quickly became a favorite among skaters in the region. The skatepark underwent a significant expansion in 2020, adding a new 5,000-square-foot flow bowl as part of Phase 2 of its development. This addition, featuring multiple sections, including mini ramps and deep bowls, further enhanced the park’s appeal.
The park is designed to accommodate various skating styles, with a mix of street and transition elements. Skaters can enjoy features like quarterpipes, hubbas, manual pads, rails, and stairs, alongside the impressive flow bowl. The skatepark is set within Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park, offering a scenic beachside location that adds to its popularity.
Funding for the park came from a mix of municipal and community efforts, aimed at providing a top-notch facility for skaters in the area. The park is open year-round, free of charge, and allows only skateboards and inline skates (no BMX bikes or scooters). The addition of skateboarding lessons and clinics during the summer months has made the park a hub for both beginners and experienced skaters alike.
