Alberta Skatespot in Portland, Oregon, is a small but well-loved skate area designed and built by Evergreen Skateparks. It opened on May 16, 2015, and covers 2,000 square feet. The park features a mix of corners, bowls, and concrete elements, making it a great spot for both beginner and intermediate skaters. Located in the Kʰunamokwst Park area, it has become a popular neighborhood spot for local skateboarders.
The project was part of Portland's broader initiative to create community skateparks, with funding and support coming from both local government and community fundraising efforts. Its smaller size and user-friendly layout make it an ideal place for younger or newer skaters to hone their skills.
