Stanton Skatepark, located in Stanton, California, is a 9,000-square-foot outdoor concrete skatepark that opened in April 2016. Designed and built by SpohnRanch Skateparks, the park was funded through local government support and community efforts. It is situated between Anaheim and Long Beach, making it a convenient spot for skaters from across the Los Angeles area.
The park's design is simple but effective, with a layout that emphasizes open space and flow, allowing skaters to maintain momentum as they move from one feature to the next. Key elements include a five-stair set with a hubba and handrail, multiple quarter pipes, flat rails, ledges, and a skateable sculpture that serves as a kicker with a gap. This variety of obstacles makes the park suitable for skaters of all levels.
Stanton Skatepark is part of the larger Stanton Central Park, which offers additional amenities such as sports fields, a playground, and a water play area, enhancing its appeal to families and community members beyond the skateboarding crowd.
The park has been well-received by local skateboarders, with consistent praise for its smooth concrete and well-spaced features, which cater to both street and transition skating.
