Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

The Barracas Skatepark, often referred to locally as "La Fosa" (The Pit), is a gritty and iconic spot tucked away in the southern part of Buenos Aires. Located directly under or adjacent to the Frondizi Highway (9 de Julio Sur), it is the definition of an urban "under-bridge" spot, offering shelter from the sun and rain while providing a raw, industrial backdrop for sessions.
If you’re looking for the heart of the Buenos Aires underground scene, Barracas is it. Located at Herrera 102, this concrete park is famous for its "hidden" feel and its central feature—a massive, well-constructed bowl. Because it is partially sheltered by the highway overhead, it’s one of the few spots where you can catch a session even when the weather isn't cooperating.
The park is known for being a bit "rough around the edges," which only adds to its charm for street and transition skaters alike.
The Main Bowl: This is the park's primary draw. It is a large, deep concrete bowl that is widely considered one of the best-built transitions in the city. It’s smooth, fast, and offers plenty of room for creative lines.
Street & Flow: Surrounding the bowl is a series of scattered street elements. The layout is somewhat non-linear, encouraging skaters to find their own paths between the obstacles.
The sound of cars passing on the highway above creates a constant urban hum. It’s a "skater’s park"—no frills, just solid concrete and a dedicated local crew.
