Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

Heemraadssingel 249, 3023 CE Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The Heemraadssingel Skatepool in Rotterdam is the city's first concrete skate bowl, built in 2012. This project was initiated by local skaters, including Alexander Keizer, Tijs Niessen, Mink Steekelenburg, and Victor Verhagen, who saw an opportunity to revitalize a neglected playground and basketball court in the area. The pool was designed and constructed in collaboration with SkateOn and LAGADO architects, and it features a unique freeform design that integrates smoothly into the landscape.
The skatepool was developed as a community-driven project, with the local neighborhood involved in its planning. The project received funding from Delfshavense Duiten, a program aimed at improving local environments. The final design included variations in height, offering challenges for skaters of different levels, and the pool is adjacent to a renovated multifunctional sports field. The project was completed in July 2012, with an official opening in September 2012, celebrated with a community event.
This skatepark serves as a social and recreational hub for the community, while also contributing to Rotterdam's skateboarding culture, which is known for spots like the Westblaak Skatepark. The Heemraadssingel skatepool continues to be a key location for local skaters.
