716 W Oldfield Street, Lancaster, California 93534, United States of America.
Jane Reynolds Skatepark, located in Lancaster, California, is a 16,000-square-foot outdoor skatepark that opened in 2019. It was designed and built by Spohn Ranch, a leading skatepark construction firm known for their high-quality, modern skateparks. The park was part of a broader project to revitalize public recreational spaces in Lancaster, supported by the City of Lancaster’s Public Improvement Program.
The skatepark features a variety of elements catering to skaters of different skill levels, including a three-level pool-style bowl, street features like ledges, stairs, rails, and manual pads. The central bowl has a radial corner extension and offers multiple lines for riders to enjoy. The facility is designed to appeal to skateboarders, BMX riders, and scooter users alike, making it a versatile space for the community.
Funding for the skatepark came from the City of Lancaster’s commitment to developing youth and family-friendly outdoor spaces. It was built to replace older, underutilized facilities in Jane Reynolds Park, with the goal of fostering a healthy, active lifestyle for local residents. The park is free and open to the public daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., providing ample time for skaters to enjoy the facility year-round.
Since its opening, Jane Reynolds Skatepark has been well-received by the local community, and it has become a hub for action sports in the area. There have been no major renovations since the park was built, but its modern design ensures that it remains a popular spot for skaters.
