Lake Holiday Skatepark, located in Sandwich, Illinois, was built in 2014 by SpohnRanch Skateparks, a prominent company known for designing and constructing skateparks. The skatepark spans 4,000 square feet and includes a variety of street and transition elements such as a quarterpipe, hubba, handrails, stairs, a jump box, and a manual pad. The park's concrete design ensures durability and a smooth surface for skateboarding, making it an appealing spot for local skaters of all skill levels.
The funding for this project came from community efforts and municipal resources, reflecting a commitment to providing recreational spaces for the youth and action sports enthusiasts in the area. The skatepark was designed with a focus on versatility and functionality, offering skaters various obstacles and a well-balanced layout despite its relatively compact size.
The park operates year-round, weather permitting, and is free for the public to use.
