Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

290 Washington Street, Somerville, Massachusetts 02143, United States of America.
The Lincoln Park Skatepark in Somerville, Massachusetts, opened as part of a larger renovation project completed in 2018. This project transformed a 6.6-acre space into a vibrant recreational hub, making Lincoln Park the largest park in Somerville. The skatepark was designed by Weston & Sampson, a design and engineering firm, which received a Boston Society of Landscape Architects (BSLA) award for its work on the park. Construction was led by MacKay Construction Services.
The renovation of Lincoln Park, which included the skatepark, was funded with $9.4 million, approved by the city's Board of Aldermen in 2016. The skatepark, built by SpohnRanch skateparks, is one of the city's first and is part of a broader range of amenities, including parkour courses, basketball courts, playgrounds, and stormwater management systems. These improvements aimed to address the park's historical flooding issues, integrating underground stormwater storage systems that can handle large rain events.
The skatepark was designed to be accessible for skaters of all skill levels and reflects the community’s desire for more outdoor recreation opportunities. The park as a whole includes multi-generational play areas, fitness stations, and community gardens, and it now serves as a critical green space in the heart of Somerville.
