The Navy Housing Skatepark, also known as the Oak HarbThe Navy Housing Skatepark, also known as the Oak Harbor Skatepark, is located in Volunteer Park in Oak Harbor, Washington. This concrete skatepark is a favorite for local skateboarders, BMX riders, and scooter users due to its diverse features, including bowls, street sections, ledges, and rails. The park is designed to cater to skaters of all skill levels, providing a range of obstacles to challenge both beginners and advanced riders.
Built around 2011, the park was part of a broader initiative to enhance recreational spaces for the community, including the local Navy housing residents. The skatepark is free and open to the public year-round. It is well-maintained and conveniently located near the Youth Center on Wake Avenue, making it a central location for family-friendly outdoor activities.
