Poolesville Skatepark, located at 19710 Wootton Ave, Poolesville, MD 20837, was constructed in 2010 and is open to the public at no cost. The park was designed with input from local youth, resulting in a facility that caters to the community's needs.
In 2019, the skatepark underwent a 5,000 square foot "street style" addition, further enhancing its offerings. This expansion was made possible through a $180,000 Community and Parks and Playgrounds Grant. Construction for this phase began in October 2019 and lasted approximately three weeks.
Artisan Skateparks, a renowned skatepark design and construction company, was responsible for both the original construction and the subsequent expansion of the Poolesville Skatepark. The park is open daily from 7:30 AM until dusk, with closures during inclement weather. Skaters are expected to adhere to posted rules and maintain the park's cleanliness to ensure continued access and enjoyment for all.
