ABOUT SKATEPARK

Stonegate skatepark

Stonegate Skatepark, located in San Jose, California, is a well-designed outdoor skatepark situated within Stonegate Park, a 10-acre community space. The park was built in 2003 by Wormhoudt, Inc., a prominent skatepark design firm. Covering 5,500 square feet, this concrete park offers a variety of features that cater to skaters of all skill levels, including a large bowl, quarterpipes, flat bars, and street-style obstacles such as rails and ledges.

The skatepark is open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM, free to the public, and equipped with lights for nighttime sessions. It’s popular with local skaters, inline skaters, and BMX riders. Stonegate Skatepark also regularly hosts community events, such as the Stonegate Park Community Day, drawing families and skateboarders from across the Bay Area.

This park is not for the beginners but it is a fun one to check out if you‘ve never been before!
