Sugar Bowl skatepark

Located in the Mackay Region, in North Queensland, Australia, with a population of 114,969 (census 2016). The Sugar Bowl skatepark, aka Mackay skatepark, is a $2.2 million project jointly funded by the Australian Government’s Building Better Regions Fund and Mackay Regional Council and it was designed and built by Concrete Skateparks Australia. It was officially opened on September 21, 2018, featuring a three metre competition bowl, intermediate bowl and a street run almost 80m long. It's a large concrete park with just about everything, including an informal grassed play area, climbing wall, parkour equipment, nature play area, ping pong, barbecue and picnic areas for those who don't skate. Definitely a bucket list spot.
