The Valmont Skatepark in Boulder, Colorado, was designed and built by Evergreen Skateparks and opened in 2021. The park spans 11,000 square feet and features Evergreen’s signature "flowy" design, known for its smooth transitions and creative lines, which make it accessible for skaters of all skill levels. It is located within Valmont City Park, a large recreational area that also includes a bike park, pump track, disc golf course, and dog park.
Valmont Skatepark offers a variety of obstacles including boxes, ledges, rails, and deeper bowl pockets with coping, all arranged in a looped layout. The park is primarily designed for smooth-flow skating rather than large vert or complex street skating, which makes it a versatile space for longboarders and casual skaters alike. Despite its lack of big bowls or lighting for night sessions, it’s a popular spot for riders looking to enjoy the flowing layout.
The park was funded as part of the Valmont City Park development, a multi-use recreational space managed by the City of Boulder. This skatepark is one of several sport and outdoor activity offerings in the park, which promotes family-friendly and multi-sport activities for the Boulder community.
