ABOUT SKATEPARK

White Grounds Skatepark

Popular Plaza style skatepark in London built by Wheelscape Skateparks. White Grounds Skatepark, situated under the railway arches near London Bridge station, is a distinctive plaza-style concrete skatepark that opened in May 2007. Designed by local architecture firm DIVE and Rich Holland in collaboration with the local skateboarding community, the park maximizes its unique space beneath the arches.

The skatepark includes transitions, banks, stacked and staggered ledges, and a mini ramp tucked into one corner. The existing arches provide opportunities for wall rides, enhancing the park's unique character. From London Bridge train station, exit onto Tooley Street heading west, turn right onto Druid Street, and follow it to the train bridge arches; the skatepark is directly ahead. The nearest bus stop is Druid Street (Stops C & E), served by routes 42, 78, and 188.

The skatepark is generally open from 9 am to 5 pm daily. However, it's advisable to check the Southwark Council website for the most up-to-date information, especially regarding weekends and bank holidays.
