ABOUT SKATEPARK

Kennington skatepark

Kenny, the Kennington Park skate bowl was built in 1978 on the site of some derelict netball courts and was one of the earliest dedicated skate bowls in the UK to still survive. Notable not just for its age, but also because the Radical Banking design was unique to the UK at the time of opening, and was designed by Lorne Edwards based on ideas he got from visiting US skateparks.
