ABOUT SKATEPARK

Boulder library spot

The Boulder Library Skate Spot is a unique and beloved skateboarding location in Boulder, Colorado, situated near the Boulder Public Library at 1001 Arapahoe Ave. Built by Evergreen Skateparks, this spot was designed with skaters in mind, offering elements like a manual pad, flat rail, and ledge. It’s a compact yet fun space for skaters of all levels, and being located under the library next to a creek, it provides a picturesque urban setting.

Completed in early 2022, this spot is part of Boulder's ongoing efforts to provide accessible recreational spaces for its youth and skateboarding community. The park also ties into the broader Civic Area redevelopment, which seeks to activate public spaces with features like skate parks that encourage positive community engagement.

Events are occasionally held here, though due to its smaller size, it's more of a local spot for daily skateboarding rather than large-scale competitions. Skaters appreciate its central location, with easy access to the library's amenities, making it a great place for quick skate sessions combined with a visit to the library.
