Located at 141 Hatfield St, Gardens (8001 Cape Town), City Bowl Park is a unique DIY skate-destination built into the old Olympic-size pool of Cape Town High School. With depth changes from ~1.2 m to ~4.8 m turned into skateable terrain, benches, roll-ins, hips and ledges, it offers an unconventional session zone for skateboarders, BMX and other wheeled riders. Free to access between roughly 09:00–19:00 daily, it’s an urban gem in Cape Town’s City Bowl, with mountain views and a strong community vibe.
