Neutaconkanut Park and Hill Skatepark, located at 675 Plainfield Street in Providence, Rhode Island, is a prominent destination for skateboarders and outdoor enthusiasts. Nestled within Neutaconkanut Park, this skatepark offers a variety of concrete features suitable for skaters of all skill levels. In late 2023, the City of Providence initiated an expansion project to enhance the skatepark's offerings.
The design for this expansion was finalized by Pillar Design Studios, a firm specializing in skatepark design. Construction commenced around September 2023. The construction was undertaken by Artisan Skateparks, renowned for their expertise in building high-quality skateparks. The expansion aimed to introduce an additional 8,000 square feet of street course elements, complementing the existing features and catering to a broader range of skateboarding styles.
