The Woony Adventure Park, officially known as the Woonasquatucket Adventure Park, is a dynamic recreational facility located at 100 Heath Street in Providence, Rhode Island. The park features a cement pump track, providing a continuous loop of berms and rollers suitable for cyclists of all ages and skill levels.
The transformation of this 9.25-acre site from a former brownfield into a vibrant adventure park was a collaborative effort involving the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, the Providence Parks Department, The Trust for Public Land, the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council, and other partners. The park serves as a recreational hub, especially for teens, and enhances connectivity for thousands of Providence residents.
