ABOUT SKATEPARK

Uster pumptrack

The Uster Pumptrack, located within the Buchholz sports complex in Uster, Switzerland, is a premier facility for wheeled sports enthusiasts, including cyclists, skateboarders, and rollerbladers. This state-of-the-art pumptrack was officially inaugurated on October 27, 2024, as part of the city's commitment to promoting active lifestyles and providing high-quality recreational infrastructure.

The pumptrack was meticulously designed by Velosolutions to cater to users of all skill levels, featuring a 141-meter-long circuit with various combinations and a bowl section. This design allows for a dynamic and engaging experience, accommodating both beginners and advanced riders. The construction was overseen by the Municipality of Uster, ensuring that the facility met the highest standards of safety and functionality.

The development of the Uster Pumptrack was a collaborative effort, primarily funded by the Municipality of Uster. The project was part of the city's broader strategy to enhance its sports infrastructure, aligning with the "Uster steigt um" initiative, which aims to develop Uster into a bicycle and public transport-friendly city by 2030. Additionally, the pumptrack serves as a legacy of the UCI Road and Para-Cycling World Championships 2024, which featured four race starts in Uster.
