The Albany Skatepark, located within Youth Challenge Park behind the PCYC on Sanford Road in Albany, Western Australia, is a premier facility that combines a state-of-the-art pump track, skate plaza, and bowl. Officially launched in September 2021, it caters to skateboarders, BMX riders, and scooter enthusiasts of all skill levels.
In 2018, the City of Albany commissioned Skate Sculpture, an Australian-owned skatepark design and construction company, to facilitate community consultations and create a concept design for a skate plaza to complement the existing transition-dominant Albany Skatepark. The design process involved engaging with local riders, parents, and stakeholders to ensure the facility met community needs.
