The Youth Challenge Park, located behind the PCYC on Sanford Road in Albany, Western Australia, is a premier facility that combines a state-of-the-art pump track, skate plaza, and bowl. Officially launched in September 2021, it has become a popular destination for enthusiasts of various wheeled sports.
The development of Youth Challenge Park was part of the broader Centennial Park Sporting Precinct Upgrade, a significant project aimed at enhancing Albany's recreational infrastructure. The City of Albany appointed Stantec to provide comprehensive engineering services for this redevelopment, including civil, electrical, sustainability, hydraulic, mechanical, acoustic, structural, and underground power disciplines. The architectural design for the precinct was led by Gresley Abas, who developed the master plan and schematic designs for key sports facilities within the 68-hectare site.
